This s a legitimate contest and Fab Over 40 partners with the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The winner is determined through public voting.
The donation to National Breast Cancer Foundation will come from votes purchased through the competition. 100% of donations raised from votes purchased during the Fab Over 40 competition will go directly to DTCare, which will subsequently grant the donation (minus competition fees/costs and a nominal percentage (1%) retained by DTCare), to National Breast Cancer Foundation at the end of the competition. So, why did I decide to compete? Hell, because I feel I am pretty fab over 40! At the age 53, I have been blogging over a decade on natural hair, beauty and skincare and now thrown content creation into the mix. Not sure if you know but I have an Amazon storefront, a page on the LTK app, written two hair books, (Natural Hair For Beginners: A Beginner’s Guide To Going Natural Successfully and 21 Natural Hair Growth Stimulators), and now a fiber artist. In a nutshell, I think I’m pretty fab and would love to win this big!
