Historical Fiction Trilogy, Madame Lilly: A Must Read From Dormaine G. | Naturally News

Historical Fiction Trilogy, Madame Lilly: A Must Read From Dormaine G.

We gotta support our Natural haired authors. They are out here and they are amazingly talented with stories to tell. One of my favorites is Dormaine G., author of Young adult and horror, has brought a trilogy of terror about Madame Lilly Trilogy and this series is book writing gold.

NEW BOOK ON NATURAL HAIR IN THE WORKPLACE AND YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Set in the 18th and 19th century New Orleans, the story is about a woman’s turn to voodoo for revenge against her cruel common-law husband. These short stores (novellas) are easy reads and draw you into the world of Madame Lilly and her pathway to damnation.

Dormaine G. is an RN by profession but turned to writing as a outlet for her creative spirit. After many years of working in hospitals and travel nursing she took time off to pursue a career in writing. Her book always have diverse characters as many black authors feel diversity is not being properly displaced in the literary world.

Dormaine G., Author

Her first novel “Connor” is in one of her favorite genres, young adult urban fantasy. Her second love is for horror of which she created the “Madame Lilly, Voodoo Priestess” series. This is just the start of her exploration as she stays locked up her office in Colorado spinning more tales.

Natural haired authors are out here and we need to celebrate and promote them. Dormaine G. is special because she’s talented, beautiful and yes, my sister. Black women are not getting the recognition in writing as much as other authors and it is time we stood up and fought for our voices to be heard.
