Naturals, we love checking in on our Natural celebs so I had to share the simple yet elegant look that Kelly Rowland posted the other day with her hair in a bun. Kelly was at the grand opening of “Cadillac House” in New York City Wednesday night.
She looked absolutely stunning and slayed that bun. Her sleek edges, few hair strands out and a bit of a messy bun made her look classy yet playful. It complemented her sexy metallic dress and those classy Gianvito heels that I would die for.
In this article, I want to let you know that you can rock this look this summer as well. You may or not be going to a red carpet event with flashing lights on you but you can still slay You might be heading to dinner with a special someone, friends or just going out for the night on the town.
The BUN is a simple and sophisticated style that will never go out of style in the natural hair community. You can do different forms and still look amazing. A fave is the side bun whereby you’d comb your hair to your ‘good side’.
The faux bun is perfect for Naturals with shorter tresses. All that is needed is for you to comb everything into one and attach the hair. The sock bun that most naturals use just to add more height/width to their bun. The high bun where you comb your hair to the top of your head and form the bun.

You can do more by braiding a crown at the front or using a chic headband. Or you can do what exactly what Kelly did. You can switch up depending on your preference just remember to sleek down those baby hairs, pull out a few strands if needed, accessorize or style a bit more but do not lose the idea of elegance.
