While black don’t crack for everyday women, it truly hasn’t cracked for the lovely Naomi, Tomiko, Iman or Tyra. According to Jill, “Our girls are working. There’s a whole market out there because we’re living longer and we’re not dressing like our grandmothers and wearing muu muus and taking out the garbage. We are very educated and worldly and we have so much to give, and money to spend. It’s the baby boomers from age 35-70 that are spending, not the 19 year-olds who are still being supported by their parents.” Erickka Sy Savané
I’m excited because even though most of us are not fashion models, 5’10 or a size 2, the feeling that being over 30 does not constitute as over the hill and undesirable…but we already knew that didn’t we?
