Kurly Klips, curly textured clip-in hair extensions, were created by Lana Boone and have been well-received in the Natural hair community. An alternative to traditional weaves, this system is concentrated on not harming your own tresses.
This post is severely overdue. I’ve been meaning to discuss and wear the highly versatile and cute as hell Kurly Klips forever but I’m not one for added hair since I’ve been nurturing and rocking my natural tresses. I’ve dabbled with wigs, weaves and braids but that seems like a lifetime ago and me being the wash and go queen keeps me pretty far from protective styles of any kind.
Despite that I wanted to give this wonderful product a try and I am truly glad I did. It was an easy and quick install that I had my sister do for me. She french braided five braids from front to back leaving enough hair out in the front for coverage. It took less than an hour and before I knew it I was rocking the big baddass hair I have been DYING for forever. Here are a few pics below to showing how much fun I had being on #bighairdontcare team.
I am wearing 2 sets of the Shoulder Chic Fro from the MY Fro collection. This allows me to have little to no hair out with the two sets and I am wearing headbands because my hair color was wayyy off from the hair. The great part is I could color the hair to match mine but I’m wayyyy too unorganized for that madness. LOL
That’s my nephew, McCully in the back. Yea, don’t ask!
The hair matched amazing well and you can brush it out to match your hair texture and type with ease. I am very happy with this hair and love how there was no sewing, gluing or hooking into my hair. All I had to do was clip. They were easy to remove and with practice I am pretty sure I could install them myself. They are not for sleeping in so I removed them at night but I had so much fun rocking them I almost got whiplash from all the swinging!
This is going to be my fun style for holiday parties and I excited because they will last the whole season with no worries. They are 100% Remy human hair and one set runs from $159 to $199 according to length. They can be dyed, straightened and you treat and care for them just like your own hair with washing and conditioning.
There are two collections, the My Spirals which are silkier and more spiral curls and the My Fro with the frizzier, tighter fro. The two collections really make it easy for relaxed and natural women to enjoy these clip-in hair extensions. Kurly Klips have tons of videos on everything from washing to styling to installing so definitely check out the Youtube channel.
Now, until November 21st, my lovely readers can get these amazing hair clip extensions with a 10% discount by using the code: SN10!!! Just in time for you to be rocking them for the holidays too.
