Product Review – ReusaWool Dryer Balls

Product Review - ReusaWool Dryer Balls
ReusaWool Dryer Balls

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I was asked by the makers of Dryer Balls to test them out and see if I liked them.  I was very interested because anything that can speed up my drying time and lower our electric bill is a winner so I was more than eager to see how they measured up.  I’m glad I did!

ReusaWool Dryer Balls are the natural solution for softening your clothes without chemicals. Made completely from wool, they help your clothes (and cloth diapers!) tumble dry softly, and reduce the drying time by up to half.  Great for all laundry. To use, simply toss 2-3 balls in your wet dryer and start. No need to remove them from the dryer, just reuse!

Approximately 9” circumference (about the size of a tennis ball).

Use 2-3 balls for fastest drying.

Won’t harm your clothes.

100% Wool, some natural pilling may occur over time. Available in natural and colors. The colors are safe for any color laundry, the dye used is fiber reactive, and will not bleed onto your clothing.

Lasts for many years! No more dryer sheets!  The Willow Store

I am NOT going to lie…these boogers actually work!  I was kinda skeptical at first because what can three little balls do to my big laundry loads?  I also had heard about adding a dry towel to your load to make drying faster but never tried it thinking it wouldn’t work either (sorry, not a science person).   They really cut down my drying time.  OK, here’s proof.

I have this fancy front load dryer that can dry on drying time or according to a sensor that stops the dryer when the clothes are dry.  The sensor NEVER gets it right. Something is always really damp and I have to run it again.  ALWAYS, so most of the time we put it on drying time.  A waste of money for sure but when I threw those little tennis ball sized balls in there they dried my clothes on the sensor dry completely!  Always dry completely.  That’s when I knew they really worked.

*         Poor rating.  Will not be buying again ever!!

**       Mediocre.  Will not be buying again.

***     Average.  May or may not buy again.

****   Above average.  Will probably buy again.

***** Excellent!  Will buy again and may become a staple product.

ReusaWool Dryer Balls *****

This is a winner!  I have to say my drying time has been cut by at least 25% (maybe more) and I’m saving money because that dryer dries like it’s supposed to dry.  Three little balls have saved me money and although they get lint or pills on them like they say you can just pull them off. They do not make any noise either.  The biggest problem I have is keeping them in the dryer and not tumbling into my basket when I pull clothes out.

They last forever?  Well, that’s not a good idea for the company but it’s great for me. I’ll replace them when I notice it’s not working as well as it should be according to them that won’t ever happen.  I know I’ll be making this a staple. I also have a surprise for you so make sure to come back tomorrow…OK, I gotta spill.  I have a giveaway of your own set that starts tomorrow!

Happy Drying!!
