Lovely Loc Hairstyles for Valentine’s Day

Love is in the HAIR!  I’m so excited about Valentine’s Day and super excited about sharing some lovely Locs hairstyles with you all.  I’ve been slacking on my representation of Locs so forgive me for that but I’ve made good with three gorgeous styles.  They are sure to turn heads on your romantic night out or even a night out with the girls.  I know many women are just going out to have fun and you should look amazing while you paint the town red!

Loc Hairstyle Tutorial: Glammed Up Plaits

Jungle Barbie is on a mission to dispel the myth that Locs can’t be Chic. She’s sharing in a quick video a very glam pinned up style that can also be achieved on braids or twists.  All that’s needed are some hairpins and black rubber bands.  She’s working with Locs that are almost Armpit Length (APL) so no need for extra long hair to achieve this very sophisticated and sexy style.

Bantu Knot Tutorial & Results on LOCS !

I LOVE Bantu Knots on Locs.  They just looks so good.  I think it’s a jealousy I have since whenever I do Bantu Knots mine are so small and pitiful looking.  I can’t help but be in love bigger ones.  0nDeck does not disappoint with her variation of Bantu Knots with just Olive oil, water, and rubberbands to secure them. She’s got some color in her Locs, like a lavender and the end result is just stunning.  She takes them out the next day and the wave pattern from the knots are just breathtaking!  Keep ’em in or take ’em out but either way you have a lovely look for V-Day. (Oh, madly in love with that song she is playing)

Loc Hairstyle Tutorial: Curly Girl Pin-Up

How could I NOT share a Locs video without sharing a style by the talented and gorgeous chescalocs.  She starts with curled Locs set on flexirods.  She’s known for having super simple videos and instructions and the gist of the video is looping and pinning.  She’s opting for a shorter look but we all know she has ultra long Locs that are to die for!  This is a very romantic look to try.

Sexy, romantic, sophisticated styles for Valentine’s Day.  Three beautiful styles from three beautiful women.  You are sure to dazzle on that special day so try them out and share pics below!!!

I absolutely love this post! I am starting my locs after 2 years of growing out my hair. I have always wanted to do them, but when I first went back natural in 09, I was afraid of the commitment and I changed my hair up so much, I played all in it and even shaved it off for a couple of years. Now, I am ready for them and I can't wait until I can find someone to start them for me because I can't do them myself lol (I tried countless of times and I don't want to get so frustrated that I pull and yank my hair out).

Thank you for loving the post. You made me smile. Yes, you need to find someone soon because we cannot have you yanking any hair out! If no one is close by you may have to widen your search. Good luck!
