Curly Questions – Shampoo in the eye problem

(origin)

I had a reader ask me a question that I would like to pose to the rest of readers.

SJ asks:  Does anyone have an eye condition where their eye(s) protrude to the
point of not completing closing? It causes dry eye syndrome. If so, what
do you cover your eye with when you wash your hair?

The condition she is discussing is a “protruding or bulging eye, also known as proptosis, may occur
gradually, and a person may not recognize changes until the protrusion
is significant. Eye protrusion may result in an inability to fully close
the eyelids, causing damage to the eyes’ surface.”Livestrong

There are all kinds of shampoos for babies but what about adults that may have a problem with shampooing?  It’s not as easy as you would think to find something to fix the problem and she’s been using the Betty Dain Shampoo Funnel but she’s looking for something easier.

I did a little searching and came across the good, the bad, and the ugly but finally found Shampoo Goggles.  There are a few ones out there but these seem like the best with look, price, and usage. They can be found at Shampoogoggles.com for under $15.00.

Despite the find I really wanna ask all of you if you have some other suggestions.  I don’t know if these are better than what’s she used before, but maybe someone else out here has a solution to her problem that I’m sure many more people share.  Let’s help her Naturals!

Love to hear your suggestions Naturals,

Sabrina

i was just thinking goggles while I was reading your article. But I was wondering would regular swimming goggles work? That way she will not have to wait for them to ship and could just go to Target or Walmart etc.

That is a good idea for the meantime. The actual shampoo goggles wrap around the ear so she will have 100% access to her hair for washing for regular swimming goggles should be good until she gets those. Thanks.
