Product Review – AO, Honeyscukle Rose Moisturizing Conditioner

(Aubrey Organics)

I was introduced to AO a little over a year ago (I really need to start writing some dates down) by a few different blogs I like.  I was happy with the KC line but soon realized I needed a conditioner for co-washing since I used the KC Knot Today for ‘slip’ and as a leave-in.

Honeysuckle Rose® Moisturizing Conditioner 11oz

For Dry, Brittle Hair
The sweet smell of success for your hair. Trade those dry, thirsty tresses for vibrant, touchably soft hair with this moisture-intensive conditioner. Restorative herbal emollients detangle and rehydrate to leave hair ultra-silky and irresistibly fragrant. Also recommended for bleached or highlighted hair.  Aubrey Organics)

This is a wonderful conditioner and I’ve been using it to co-wash for about a year now.  This really brought me closer to the completion of my arsenal for my wash and go routine.  I’ve been (unknowingly) searching for my staple products to achieve the curls and moisturized hair that I have now.   The dryness I used to suffer through began to dissipate when I added this conditioner.   I should also mention I get this from Whole Foods Market.

The first 5 ingredients in AO, Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Conditioner:
Coconut fatty Acid Cream Base
Organic Aloe Vera
Organic Shea Butter
Wheat Germ Oil
Organic Jojoba Oil
(I love the ingredients!!!)

*         Poor rating.  Will not be buying again ever!!
**       Mediocre.  Will not be buying again.
***     Average.  May or may not buy again.
****   Above average.  Will probably buy again.
***** Excellent!  Will buy again and may become a staple product.

Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Conditioner  *****

I am quite happy with this conditioner and even though I hate buying hair products online (no issues with buying clothes online, however) I would purchase this online if I was unable to get it locally.  It’s too significant in keeping my hair moisturized for me to look elsewhere.  It’s one of my staple products and it will remain that way for quite a while.

Take care Naturals,
Sabrina

Thanks for the recommendation. I've always wanted to try Aubrey Organics but I never got around to it. But I definitely want to now especially because I don't to buy any more synthetic product (well, I want to reduce my usage) so I've been using Curls Sublim Coconut Conditioner but I'm not sure where I stand with it…

I saw this conditioner at Whole Foods and came close to buying it. I would actually like to try this and I may do so sooner rather than later if I can find a sample size. I'm glad to hear that you like it so much. Makes me more likely to get serious about it.

Nia, I think you will be really happy with the purchase. I've added the line to my staple products and will be doing a review on the Protien conditioner as well.

JazzWife, not sure if they have samples available at Whole Foods but maybe at the website. I have a link to the website on my home page.
