It’s no secret that I am a HUGE fan of the Kinky Curly Line. Since their products are staples for me I figured I discuss them early on.
KNOT TODAY TM is a creamy herbal conditioner and detangler designed to smooth the cuticle and remove knots, snarls and tangles from thick curly textured hair.
After washing hair, apply KNOT TODAY TM generously and work through troubled areas with a wide tooth comb.

After I left Miss Jessie’s line alone and started researching more on taking care of my Natural hair, I was introduced to Co-Washing. I had been just wetting my hair in the shower before then. When I switched to the Kinky Curly line I began co-washing with Kinky Curly Knot Today.
What a difference! I immediately noticed how soft and manageable my hair became as SOON as I put it in my hair. I had so much slip. (Slip– Used to describe how slippery a product is (usually a conditioner or detangler)… the more slip it has, the more effectively it will coat the hair to aid in detangling. CurlyNikki)
I had a problem with detangling my hair up until then and sometimes you have to find a solution to a problem before you even REALIZE you had a problem! I used to spend tons of time detangling as well as yanking precious hairs out of my head. KCKT helped me from doing that. I used to rinse it out completely but my sister suggested only partially rinsing it out like the bottle suggests and I’ve noticed even better results by doing that.
By the time I started using the Kinky Curly line I was becoming aware of what my Natural hair needed. I was also becoming aware that my hair was different from others I had been following online. There’s a lot of well-meant advice out there but one must remember what works for them may not work for you.
I forgot to mention this earlier on my product reviews but it’s been said to look at the first 3 ingredients and some experts suggest looking at the first 5. If you are allergic to something then I suggest checking ALL the ingredients but the first 3 or 5 ingredients make up the main ingredients that actually affect your hair.

Kinky Curly Knot Today *****
Knot Today has been and will continue to be one of my staple products. I LOVE it and use it daily when I co-wash. I suggest this to anyone but especially anyone who is struggling with detangling. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
