The Soap Market Creamy Coconut Soap ***
I kinda liked this product. Let me back up a minute so you understand why I say kinda.....I'm not a soap fan. As I mentioned above, I prefer body wash and do not like the way soap makes my skin feel. It doesn't seem to glide on my skin as smoothly as a body wash when I'm in the shower. I do use soap for those more sensitive areas while cleansing. I have been using Dove for those areas for YEARS along with a body wash for the rest of my body, but when I was asked to give this a try I tried it for an all over test.
Outside of that minor problem this soap was actually really good. It smelled WONDERFUL and that is always a plus. It lathered great with a washcloth as well as a shower pouf and it really cleaned me. It didn't dry out my skin (at all) and it was a pleasant experience overall. If this was a body wash I would have given it four stars instead of three so for all the soap lovers please keep that in mind. You have to buy this online but Foxy Mango has a flat-rate shipping of only $3.99 in the Continental U.S. and $6.99 for Canada, AK and HI.
I love the ingredients and I had to give some background information on the usage of Sodium Hydroxide since most of my readers are Natural and know the dangers of lye. Despite it's bad rap it really has a purpose in soap making and it gets explained below. Overall this is really a great product and if you are interested in all natural soaps then this is something worth trying.
